Maple leaf embossed Pistol

Hey everyone, I was about a year or so ago looking at a beautiful pistol in a gun shop in grande prairie. The gun counter was busy so i thought i will look at it later and never got back to the store. They have since sold it and dont remember it. Hoping anyone can help me figure out who made it. it was stainless steel top to bottom. it was outlined in red and had a outlined red maple leaf on the bottom of the handle. any thoughts?

I don't mind the look of that pistol. although I wouldn't buy one myself new, but if I did I'd change the grips to some black ones.

I saw a version of the handgun Stebebot posted. Back in May, The Shooting Centre in Calgary had something like this. A little differnt, as I remember more of a stylized white and red canadian flag on the grips. Very nice; felt fantastic in the hands. Heavy. The $1300+ price tag scared me off, though.

Those are not it. It only had red outlining. The maple leaf was also only outlined in red. The handle was mostly stainless steel.

maybe it was a custom job, or just a stainless 1911 with aftermarket grips. You can get all sorts of grips for 1911s.
