I figured I'd start a new thread for this announcement because this is not just good news for the support group members/attendees.

Mar 8th, those who are registered as coming to the clinic are being offered a group rate on shortening/crowning/threading of your m14s barrel by Joe Dlask of Dlask Arms. Do not miss this, the deal is so good I can't advertise the price.
You will have to leave your barrel with me to deliver to Joe. I got mine back the other day and JEEBUS Joe does nice.... beyond nice.... work.

This is also good news for lowermainland m14 owners in general. lazerus2000, Echo Charlie, Myself and no doubt a few others have been egging Dlask to dive into the m14 market..... and it is looking like our prodding.... and whining :D are going to pay off. Dlask made m14 products would be such a sweet thing. Throw your comments of support here.... maybe Joe will read and be further motivated :D

oooohhhh yes... as a matter of fact i do ;)
when you see.... and feel the shorty...... I dare you to resist hehehehe
as lazerus2000 has stated and I personally aggree.... the 18.75" barrel is how this rifle shoulda been made from the beginnin

I dropped by Joe's shop last week, got my TROY MCS Socom II in there for another reconfiguration. Brought Joe some parts for the M14 and talked to him briefly on some parts that maybe sought after by M14 owners. If he decides to go through, at least we have another supplier of M14 parts.

Unfortunately, I can't make the Support Meet now due to last minute work commitments...So, I dropped by 45ACPKING's yesterday and left him my barrel for Joe to chop. Got the chance to take a look at Joe's work on 45ACPKING's shorty and it looks very slick . I'm getting pumped! Good work on behalf of the guys to get Joe thinking about getting into the M14 market.

Well, had I kown earlier... hehehe I got my barrel chopped by Tactical Ordnance. I'lll bring it too for people to see (18.75" barrel + Vortex FH = Cool!)
