Marauder kit review, new mags are in stock now.

I rest them on a 2x4 with the sight hanging over, use a steel punch & 1 hard whack, instead of small ones, relocate the punch every hit, it will start to move.
 
Found one of the Nomad Kit's here in Calgary last night. Thanks tho... looking at your site there are a couple things I think I want to add to it soon :)
 
Oddly enough, the problem NOW is finding the damn Ruger 10/22!
I kinda jumped the gun (pardon the pun) with a kit, thinking that the "world's most popular 22 rifle would be an easy find. No such luck, been trying all afternoon.

If anyone knows where a Ruger 10/22 can be found (not in stock at Cabela's, Wholesale Sports...back-ordered since APRIL! WTF??)), please let me know.
 
Aha! I managed to track one down, and so I'll stop griping all over the site now!
guns and games . com in Alberta, if anyone is in the same boat as I was.

The funny part, is that many "mom and pop" gun shops I called here in the Maritimes, thinking I would drive and get it, seemed as surprised as I was that they were 1) sold out, and 2) couldn't seem to get more in from Ruger.

I expect that these stock kits have upped the demand for this otherwise fairly mundane rifle...
 
Just wanted to follow up on the last post. All the gear came in today - install was super easy with a little help from youtube. Gun looks awesome!

I'll be coming back to hical for my next firearm upgrade kit -- likely an SKS.
 
Hey HiCal, just got the Archangel Nomad kit in the mail today and was looking to pick up 3 extra AA922 magazines with sleeves but don't see them on your website. Any idea when you'll be getting more in? Thx.
 
I just bought a new 10/22 and am thinking of ordering this kit but just had two questions I am not able to find the answer to. Does anyone happen to know if a Kidd aftermarket extended mag release or or the auto bolt release will work with the Marauder kit? I have those both already installed and would hate to waste them to install this kit Thank you for any assistance.

The kit comes with its own extended mag release, your Kidd one may or may not work. A little work with a Dremel would probably take care of any issues with the mag release. As for the auto bolt release, it's internal to the trigger assembly so no issues there.
 
Thank you for getting back to me. Just wanted to see cause the mag release is laser engraved with a logo and all. Wasnt sure on the auto bolt, if it was extended or anything to be able to reach it better due to the kit extending downward.
