Marauder mags?

We have had some issues with some of the 9-22 mags, Promag is retooling & making a gen 3 version that should work flawlessly! We are waiting until the gen 3s are ready before we restock, 6-8 weeks hopefully.

Hey Dave, do you think the third gen mags will come with metal lips ???

Fired couples hundreds rounds through my marauder mag and still works fine...
But I wonder what is the life span of those mags ???

Doesnt matter, you can change the feed lips in less than 1 min & they are only $8.

Is there a simple way to determine what gen mag I have? This thing has never worked properly for me and I've tried all the tips I've read about here and elsewhere.

if the circle piece that locks in the magazine on the front face of your mag is metal then you have a second generation model.

(first gens were plastic)

If its true, I have a second gen mag...

So far, I fired about 600-700 rounds thru mine and I had maybe 2-3 jams, mostly in first hundred rounds. IMO any hi cap mags need a break-in and maintenance helps too. I disasembled the entire mag last week and it was very easy to disasemble and clean. I even think to make a thread on that :p

I like my ruger 10-22 and my marauder mag, I was surprised to be able to shoot subsonic ammo in that rifle... Sounds like a pellet rifle lol :ar15:

I was in contact with Promag about the 4 gen 2 mags that I have. I told them that they do not work on a consistent basis and was not satisfied. I also asked if it was true that a new version of this mag will be available to fix the problems. Promag did not come out and say yes but did start a RMA and said the mags I get I will be happy with. So we will see what happens.......

Sorry mate but that does not "fix" the problem..

i bought this kit about 4 months back and have been having nothing but feeding and magazine issues.

i DO NOT want to keep having to pay 8 dollars every 500 rounds to replace my mag lips, when the company could easily replace them with quality metal parts.

Is it too much to ask of a company to NOT milk their customers for every amount of penny they got? C'mon guys dont feed the greed machine.

demand a better, reliable product that is worth putting our hard earned money towards.

(sorry for the out burst but replacing plastic mag lips with plastic mag lips is probably the most idiotic solution ive ever heard of.)
