Anyone tried these sights? Basically a peep style replacement of a semi buckhorn sight in a dovetail on the barrel. I ordered one for a model 94 carbine but gave the wrong part # and got one for a rifle style, It is longer than the carbine one and the step elevator hits the receiver and makes adjustment difficult. They are sort of a trade off with the peep not close to the eye as it should be. My model 94 is circa 1920 and not drilled and tapped for a regular peep but set up for a tang style. Debating to order another or look around for a tang sight.

Never used the marbles but really liked the skinner barrel mounted peep sight on a Rossi I built up. Also have a tang sight from Montana vintage arms that is awesome (put it on a win 92 in 25-20 that was a present for the old man).

Thanks for the reminder of Skinner sights. I haven't visited in a while and saw some nice changes. I have used their brass front blades and really like them. Just might try their barrel mount peep. Much cheaper than going tang sight. I'll see if I can find someone looking for a Marbles bullseye.

I have a marbles bullseye sight on my browning buck mark rifle and love it.While not a precision peep sight it is very quick to use tracking running game .
