Hello!
One of my friend has a very clean, almost mint Marble's GameGetter WITH the original leather shoulder holster harness.
It was used and carried by a National Parks warden in the late forties. It is in .410 gauge and .22 Long rifle.
How much can I honestly offer him?
PP.

Prices are higher in the U.S., that being said GameGetters in "high condition" are not common and the holster adds to the value considerably. If I owned it I wouldn't sell it for less than $1500 and that may be low as there aren't enough of them sold in Canada to establish a fair retail value. My 2 cents.

I saw one in a shop this past year, as new, but no holster. IIRC, it was priced at $1200, and wasn't there very long.

Marbles

I paid $300 for mine; great shape, no holster (14 years ago).

EPPS currently has two in stock, around $500. They had another two that recently sold a little cheaper.

They are great arms, shoot straight and are a neat piece of history.

There is no real market for them in Canada because you can not legally hunt with them. I have been following them for years, and the ones that sell have gone from $200 (no stock) to a little over $500 in mint shape.

I have seen lots at US prices that have stayed on the market for years. The ones that sell $200-$500.

I think you would be fair to offer $450 to $600 as your conscience dictates.
