I got a Smith Corona 1903a3 receiver from AIM Surplus. I am going to do a build for CMP Springfield matches. I have reproduction stock set, a Criterion Barrel and all the assorted bits and bobs on order. Pics to follow.

Picked up a nice well-used and mismatched 1945 Ishevsk M44 from a board member in trade.

Well I figured if no one else was gonna buy this poor little thing and take it home, than I should. I posted this guns location over a month ago, but when I went in it was still there, a Kar 91. 400$ wasn't a bad price, until you start thinking about the crap condition its in. The stock is pooched (cracked at the wrist, heavily thinned and sanded), the barrel is well worn to be polite, and of course, some dumbass with the taste of a squashed mongoose decided to f up the front sight protector/nosecap,( f ing neanderthal ). So all they did was take one of the prettiest rifles ever built and make it less pretty, so now I get to try to do something with it.

On the upside, it always pays to have a spare brand new Kar 88/91 stock kicking around.

Not a single unit mark. I bought the stock last year for a butchered Kar88 I bought, but will probably use it on this one.

Beautiful PTRS Kevin!

Although not nearly the cannon or as exciting as Kevin's PTRS, I finally broke down and bought a SVT-40. Today was the first time I have shot one of these, and I'm very impressed. I really liked it. Also in my opinion it seems much easier to clean than an SKS after shooting corrosive, only took about 1/2 hour vs 1-2 hours. Liked it a lot and had a blast with it, even though I shot it back to back with my Garand.

I note the "nm" marking on the Receiver Rail of the little Gew 91. Indicates "Neues Muster": New Issue.

NM was the improved heavy-chambered barrel. They don't lift sections out if they hit a hot round, as would the early 88s.

Some REALLY Neat Toys on here!

Mosin Nagant M1891 Dragoon SCW (Spanish Civil War) Izhevsk 1925
As it always happen I was looking for something else and bought it as possible finned MN, turned out to be scarce SCW Dragoon. A little bit temped to extend my M91 collection, so far I've been collecting only Imperial M91s, but this is really nice Dragoon.
It also has interesting Spanish replacement cleaning rod.

Where the hell did you get all your money? What is there 16-20k there? If I had your money I'd burn mine, but she'd be a cold winter.

The family that shoots together, stays together. It's a family collection, my father and I own most of them, but a few others in the family have bought some too.
