Got out this morning and started in the same area I took the 5 and thought I would try there again. This time I had company a good friend and board member Deer hunter that has not yote hunted and wanted to watch, but I did give him a rifle. Did 4 sets and on the 4th one it all happened. The setup was not the great as being in a feild with a couple of low tree patches that were wet spots and we got to the higher of the two and sat. You could just see across the snow and corn stocks stubble and I started with the cottontail dst and after 2.5 minutes and put the Fury on mute and as I scanned the area a yote comes up on a rise and I try a shot at only the head and neck as the coyote knew the gig was up as it seen the tree branches moving we were sitting in but I missed. I got the KiHi on and the female ran out and up onto a higher rise showing herself clearly and the 243 made the mark.

Out here on the coast I am looking at daffodils and tulips and getting the Motor Cycle ready for spring riding.
Obviously this one had not heard about your shooting prowess or calling abilities.
Keep up the good shooting and thinning the packs.
Umm how much $$$ would it take for you to part with your shooting iron ? ;)-

Good on ya... hey, you are in my high school's catchment area (got students from New Lowell area). We gotta trade some secrets. Ha ha ha ha

Thanks for the pictures and inspiration.

Been out 4x this season. No luck, but still great exercise. :D
