The fee for the PAL or RPAL application changes March 31 each year. If I send in the application February 1st, knowing it wont be looked at till late April, do I send the earlier lower fee or the new higher fee.
I would think the lower if doing over the internet as they charge you right away. I renewed in the fall 3 months in advance and the took the money right away and the licence just over 2 weeks later. Good luck!
I think OP is talking about a new application not a renewal. I would say play it safe and give them the extra few cents or just put your CC # down and they'll charge what they decide on.

It's an upgrade... For your CC, you have to authorize the $$ amount, so you have to pick which. I guess just put the higher number, and they will charge whichever is correct.
