March 4th Tariffs and Commerce Department Freeze

question

I finally got 3 rimfire benchguns built and paid the USA exporter you use yesterday

if the paperwork is being done up now and your paperwork to follow

IF TARIFFS COME ON by canada can we store the rifles at your exporter and if so how much per month to wait until they are off

if you are not storing your inventory that comes to the USA exporter then what would you suggest

I guess I can get the gunsmith to store it but just wondering if the paperwork is complete but the joirney to canada is not done does the goods come in tariff free

Just asking not trying to be a pain but the tariff would be 2 grand USA i think

If tariffs come in we will not be brining any loads across until we see what is affected and get a sense for howe long it might last. Storage at depot in USA is fine.

Starline is on the road!!!! (we will post what is on there shortly in a new thread)
Only major supplier that has not shipped yet is Weatherby, we have a big rifle load from them and a HUGE brass/ammo/ accessories load. Hopefully, they get it out the door Monday at the latest.

You should move to US then..
Why?
I personally dont give a dam about the politics.
I am going to buy what I want, dont like it? Choose what works best for you.
It looks like you originally ordered these Bergers in June of 24 when the dollar was at about 1.37 to buy one US$ and they came in and shipped to you early Oct when it was at about 1.37. The last 85.5 gr Bergers cost us about 1.45 per US$.....

It has to be a frustrating time to be a retailer in this business. Prophet River - you guys are doing great! We've all seen shortages and price increases before and it will happen again.

I'm confused.....if Trump puts tariffs on Canadian made goods sold in the US, why are prices in Canada going to go up?
