MARCH 8th m14 support group IMPORTANT UPDATE

April is up in the air as to the exact date, as I'm planning at least 5 days but hopefully 21 days ;) stateside.

This will remain an ongoing event, monthly, for as long as there is interest. I am a firm believer that we as gun owners need more to do outside of the range and the internet. It's a social atmosphere that can't be duplicated at the range.... or online...... where we can relax and share conversation about firearms that's just tough to do in most social environments.... what with all the anti's out there.

I'll be sending out a p.m. by this weekend with the important details/directions

There is a gun show saturday and sunday in chiliwack.... same weekend... ...... Laz may have to attend both days as he has a table. This may mean barrel chopping is on hold.... however.... there is an alternative offered by a local club supporter who has offered to set up his machine shop to help us out. Details will be announced at the march 8 th clinic.

Boy, is this ever cool.

Kudos to you, Tom, for turning that one first meeting into this ever-expanding system of mutual assitance and gun mods!

Really inspiring, I hope other areas get a look at just how effective it is to have not just one-off clinics, but a monthly meeting!

Really well done man!

Last time around people brought all kinds of goodies, from burgers, to salads, donuts.... I'll be firing up the bbq and putting on the bambi burgers again. So, feel free to bring munchies.... but post what you are bringing here so other guys know. I have condiments, need cheeses, maybe 1 dozen buns.... I have 2 bags of 8 buns from last time in tha freezer.
dunno..... I'm not fussy. I'll have coffee on all day.... if someone has a spare coffee maker or a jumbo one.... bring and it's filters ;)

So..... 2 more sleeps :dancingbanana: :D :dancingbanana:

I'll be dropping by Thomas' place after the Chilliwack show Saturday evening for bambi burgers and Bullsh!t.

So save a bit of each for me.

PS: any count on how many want their barrels shortened and threaded ... we got a great group rate.

Thomas has already got his done, so he can show you his, and I am bringing over three for myself.

I'm in for the shortening/threading.

I'll also bring some "Back Up" burgers again.

I'll bring Krispy Kreme doughnuts again. It is conveniently located between me and the Wet Coast meeting.

I may have missed some of the regulars....... If you are a regular.... who is not on the list in the first post..... or you didn't get a p.m. from me...... if you know how to get here..... you are welcome to attend. I've had a few cancellations so no big deal.

I'm up for the shortening and threading, but I only got my rifle on Tuesday, so more than anything I'd like to find out some "basics" from the gurus on field stripping and maintenance. Also like to see what others are doing in terms of optics & mounts, and bipods.

I like the look of the new stock that 45ACP is sporting in the photo gallery as well!

Are we all stocked up for buns, donuts and the like? Anything else to bring? Even if it's paper plates and napkins?
