Canada Post just dropped off a great and very pleasant prize to me! I won’t say it’s a “surprise” since the surprise part took place about 10 days ago when my name was drawn. The Chiappa .38 spl 1873 replica “Regulator” arrived a few minutes ago! Thank you again, folks, it’s a really nice little pistol! I’m sad to say I don’t know when I’ll be able to put some rounds through it; like most, my range is closed until further notice thanks to Covid.
I’m trying to be philosophical while I wait impatiently; I’ll have some time to track down some wood grips for it, and find I nice holster. It’s a perfect companion to my Rossi 1892 .357mag carbine; I’m looking forward to using the two together! Thank you again, VERY much!

Man...how embarrassing it would be to enter a contest two weeks after it closed, the winner selected & notified, the transfer all looked after and the prize shipped across the country & delivered. Even worse, to enter right after the winner posted they’d received the gun, were really happy and waiting to get out to the range...
Man, that would SUCK...especially when all it would have taken was to read even a couple of words past the “Prize draw” in the first post...
I think I’d even be embarrassed FOR them....
