The March(7th) ODPL match will be at Burlington.
Drop an email to brrcodpl@cogeco.ca if you plan to attend or need more info.
:)

FYI..

Anyone attending who's interested in having the March ODPL match set up as a Handgun/PCC match pls. drop a note to brrcodpl@cogeco.ca

Options would be...
1. shoot it with your handgun or PCC only.
2. shoot it with your handgun and then with your PCC. an additional match fee of $10 to apply.

So Steve what's the consensus on the PCC shoot ... and would a tac vest be acceptable to hold my many needed 5 round neutered mags for the Carbine portion.

How about a course design where we can use both guns at the same time instead of a separate course with each.

I'm going to make an effort to be there on the 7th.

Lots of interest, but most messages are suffixed with... "but I don't own a PCC"

and would a tac vest be acceptable to hold my many needed 5 round neutered mags for the Carbine portion..

Sure...

How about a course design where we can use both guns at the same time instead of a separate course with each..

Unlikely... As mentioned I don't think many guys own PCC's so not everyone will be able to shoot such a stage/match.
If it goes it'll be just one match... 'Same targets etc for pistolaros and PCC.

PCC will be just another Div. as far as scoring goes...

I'm going to make an effort to be there on the 7th.

'See ya then.

So 667 I have just a few questions about your match?

1. Can I still have fun?
2. Can I shoot my lever action rifle in .45 Colt
3. Can I still mock my friends as I shoot
4. Can I still be my same old self....you know a jack___?

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions

PS I will be there anyways

A big thank you to 667 and acrashb is in order for pacing us through another fine match today at BRRC. This time with an added division, PCC. Tres cool. Who's idea was that anyway? :)

I enjoyed this course of fire. Several times. :) Challenging, yet not over-thought, good distances, some pepper poppers, a moving target, some hard cover, reasonable amount of no shoots and the implementation of a found gun on the last stage. All the makings of a successful match. Well done boys.

Seen many shooters out today with their 1911's along with several malfunctioning ones. What's up with that?

Great way to spend a Sunday, but I did grow bored and tired waiting for my turn to shoot and lost much of the concentration with brain farts setting in on a few stages. Maybe advanced ADD, maybe the lack of dancing girls, maybe that indoor arctic chill, but it still beats a Sunday sermon. Yeah, I'm making excuses :D

Good to see familiar faces and friends again. Also nice to see a few new shooters out including a very young lad who shot quite well with his 1911 when it didn't jam him up.

Procedural Pete: I'm envious of your Long Colt Uberti. You seemed to be enjoying it and shot it well. Good for you. :)

Well, keep your powder dry, your women footloose and looking hot and I'll see ya'll next month. ;)

A big thanks to 667 for putting on this match...Hell how often do I get a chance to shoot a 45 colt lever gun in a defensive action match. I had a great time, thanks for all the shooters for great attitudes and having fun at another ODPL match.

Yeah... PCC. I'd like more carbine shootin', but I am not too eager about spending the whole day on an indoor range with constant rifle fire... Even with Hearing Pro. It gets tedious. PCC is a good compromise. Carbine, but with less noise/concussion :)
That and well... I need an excuse to shoot my 9mm AR :)

Well... i always try to gear it to the crowd I know who's comin' to shoot :D
I know too much thinking hurts their little heads... :p

Great way to spend a Sunday, that indoor arctic chill,

You guys are thin blooded man... It was sweat shrt weather in range..
Sissy's:p

but it still beats a Sunday sermon.

Even Jesus would agree with you...
