*** March Purchases ***

How does it work?

Beats me...there are no graduations on it, but a whole lot of adjustments. There were very few of these made (666 is the quoted production figure) and even fewer known to exist (approx 20 according to one forum, but this number is very likely higher).
The serial number on mine is in the high 15000 range, so I have to question the 666 figure of production.

The early Brens had an extra dovetail on the left side of the receiver, and this sight was the only thing that was produced to go in there. There was also a scope mount trialled, which in fact used the #32 scope which later was adapted to the Enfield Sniper rifles, but the likelihood of finding one of those is nil.

Interesting. Seems like it's only use would be from a fixed position where ranges were known and marked, perhaps it served to sight at a static range (say 300yds) while allowing the shooter to keep the iron sights calibrated to a different range (say 100yds). A way to stop the shooter from having to fumble with the sight graduations while in a pickle?

I picked up 10 Lee Enfields, a .12 shotgun, a .22 and 2 Henry PAK Martinis for $1200. The Enfields are in various condition from fair to good. I will be posting pics eventually in the next couple of weeks.

I would consider the offer, however I have promised two of my friends/workmates they could buy a couple of them already since it was a big purchase...and now that I actually got them I want to keep them all for myself! Sorry!

This is kinda cute...

I had to buy one of these.....cheaper then norinco and made in the free world:) It's in great shape, only wear is to the finish on the frame, nice sights, single action trigger pull is acceptable, double action is terrible....worst d/a trigger I have ever come across. Balances and points really well, hope it shoots good, I greased her up and it's a very smooth action.
