OK, too funny! I just checked the serial number and pics of your rifle. I almost bought that one when it was still at Collector's Source, so I guarantee you it came from there. Also, you may not know, but that rifle was refurbished post-war and then re-issued. Despite being a 1941 Sako, it falls well outside the accepted serial number range for a straight stocked M39. that, coupled with the metal wear disproportionate to the wood wear leads me to believe your rifle is one of the examples that received a left-over straight stock at refurb during a refurb shortly after the Continuation war.
In any event, nice rifle that ALMOST was in my rack before I decided on a different M39 they had for sale - lol.
