Mare's Leg Redux

Have you tried one?
Obviously it would require practice but of all the mare's leg's the .22's would have to be the easiest to shoot due to the minimal recoil.

I'd guess cans at 50 yards would be pretty easy with a red dot sight and offhand shooting, but I haven't tried one yet.....

The beauty of these guns in Canada is they are nice and compact and we can put a full stock on without taxes like in the States....:dancingbanana:

Haven't tried one, just judging by the looks. Can't really shoot it like a typical handgun and not enough stock to shoot it like a rifle. But he's got that problem solved, and nicely I might add. Good job. Wonder if one could take it out hunting with it in a holster like on the TV show. Now that would be cool and who cares if you couldn't hit anything.

Clever way of extending the stock and being able to go back to the unaltered look!

I just got back from my first day at the range with my own Henry Mare's Leg .22 and I am pretty pleased with it. I could break the odd clay laying on the 100m berm without a rest. With some practice I bet I could do better. At 25m it shoots better than I can with a pistol.

I think this is a great gun. I like the lever size too.

I've also just gotten a mare's leg in .22lr. I've found that if you use a tactical single point sling and attach it to the saddle ring, it works very nicely and adds alot of stability to it.
