mares leg stock extention

not finished yet but almost, has a belt hook to carry it when not attached.
I've tried several holsters but found the draw to long and hangs too low so I made a shoe that the saddle ring slips in into.

Apparently the original purpose for the saddle ring was to tie the rifle to rider.

1/4 turn locking cam holds it together

oh ya it holds 14 rounds, it weighs just over a half pound empty just under 1.5 lb loaded up with 240gr bullets I have 7 magnum and 7 hard cast light loads for grouse. I could have made it hold more but after 14 rounds if you haven't got or it ant got you its time to give up.

I've just bought a Rossi rifle stock to do approximatly the same.

The stock will be cut and a a plate will be mated on each surface. it will be a twist lock thing. And a ammo trap will probably be fitted.

Right now I am waiting for the postman to bring me my front and rear sight plus the Steve's gun acc. and DvD.

I hope that this project will be functionnal! Not a rattly ,Noisy, shaky useless piece of Junk.
