not finished yet but almost, has a belt hook to carry it when not attached.
I've tried several holsters but found the draw to long and hangs too low so I made a shoe that the saddle ring slips in into.

Apparently the original purpose for the saddle ring was to tie the rifle to rider.

1/4 turn locking cam holds it together

it holds 14 rounds, it weighs just over a half pound empty just under 1.5 lb loaded up with 240gr bullets I have 7 magnum and 7 hard cast light loads for grouse. I could have made it hold more but after 14 rounds if you haven't got or it ant got you its time to give

Now that has me thinking - clever idea that.
Maybe I'll make one myself with room for my lunch in there too. Lose two rounds for small salt and pepper shakers:)

The shell holder is a great use of the extention, mine is a piece of a wood 870 stock so ill have to figure out some way to stow rounds in it. Also what did you use for the cam system.

Lotta money for a high priced toy you're just putting a stock on. Why not just buy a Win 94 Trapper? Just curious.

This is the 2.0 model. The first one was a test. Makes it a fun gun for plunking and kids to shoot and just to be different. 90% of the time it won't be on. The plane old mares leg will be hanging on my hip. But if I find a good price on a 94 trapper I'll take it to.
