Marinade for Venison or Moose

1/2 cup red wine
3 cups water
1 cup tomato or apple juice
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
4 slices lemon
3 bay leaves
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 chopped onion
5 cloves garlic

Best results if you keep in marinade for 24 hours. When cooking your meat you can baste with marinade ( so don't throw it out):p

Do you think that this will be great for canada goose as well?
 
Sounds good, but is there a big difference between using the Apple or Tomato juice ??? I am usually lazy and just use Italian salad dressing, which works well, but I need a new flavor. Am going to try yours out this week end.
