mark 2 or stevens 300?

Hey guys,

Looking for a cheap first .22lr and I am torn between these two. The Stevens is on sale now but I don't know much about it. Does anybody know anything about the Stevens 300 or should I wait for a sale on the mark 2? Boxing day is coming and I am hoping for a deal on the mark ii G.

I would get the mark II just because the accutrigger.

I found the two very comparable ...but the trigger makes a bit of difference. But did not mind the 300s .

Mark II for the trigger unless you were looking at the 300 Trapper for it's short barrelled coolness.

Yeah, I do like the idea of the trigger. Not getting the short barreled 300.

who has the best prices on a mk2?....if I had my druthers-I'd like a MK2 on a Norinco JW15 thumbhole synthetic camo stock...,don't know why they don't offer it ,it can't cost more than a regular synthetic stock to manufacture

Well I think I got a pretty good price when I picked mine up at wholesale sports.
I would like to buy from Our sponsors But its hard to beat the wait on shipping and no shipping charges.
I walked out At $220ish.

Depends on what model you want. Best I have seen for a g model is $209

As mentioned, it is well worth the small amount extra to get the Accu-trigger Mark II model. An adjustable trigger will definitely help most people when it comes to shooting accuracy.
