Hey guys I have done the searches on line and have come up with little to no luck with finding a good place to get the parts to do a Resto on a Mark 4. Could anyone be a good sport, and give Me a little point in the right direction.

There are quite a few NOS British marked sets that can be found on eBay. Most of them seem to be beech, but there are a few walnut sets that show up as well. None of them come cheap though, especially considering the exchange rate for the US dollar right now.

You may have better luck searching for Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk 1 , as I assume that is what you mean? Lots at many retailers , e-bay, or pm to member here under name " arealgunnut" and tell him I sent ya.

Hey there, I was about to list a complete stock set, metal bits + brass buttplate for sale. I guess I'll PM you, although I think that the forearm was never mounted or is for a no4 mk2 as it was either very tight or did not fit around the action of my no4 mk1.

If it's for a No 4 Mk 2 the back of the lower stock will have been cut out, instead of being a solid piece. Usually with a bolt that threads through. Making the whole thing look like a very distorted tuning fork, for lack of a better description.

Numrich has a LOT of stuff, but yeah, $30 export fee. I usually wait until I have enough stuff to justify the cost.

Yeah Frost, I listed it & added pictures. I imagine you could probably modify it somewhat easily, worst case scenario is you wrap it with a tight cloth first to prevent expansion or cracking, then remove the bolt and do some cutting.

That's more or less what I did when I restored a sporter. That and find a lower stock that was in miserable enough condition I didn't feel bad about chopping a slice out...
