Mark 4 ring question.

I tried this question in optics without success.
Does anyone know if the cross-bolts on a Mark 4 ring are user removable? I have one that is misaligned bad enough that it embeds into the aluminum rail. I know that on some other rings the cross-bolts are removable, but these seem to be pressed in tight. I'd like to remove it, turn it one spline and replace.
I do have an email in to Leupold, but this being the weekend I don't expect they will get to it right away.

Typically the better rings like Mk4s and NFs press their cross bolts in place.
You could mung up the ring trying to remove and replace the cross bolt, I would get them replaced, as it would appear to be a manufacturers defect.
