mark II savage parts

I was putting away my shooting gear today and i seem to have lost my detachable mag for my .22

Looking for a supplier so that i can purchase a new one, also is there anyone that sells a metal trigger guard.

Savage mags are like pennies in the stores where they sell Savage rifles...... Plentiful to say the least.

If all else fails I can pick you up a couple at my local 'pusher' (they have lots) and send 'em off your way, as long as you pay for the parts & shipping.

have you tried to call Savage directly? There is apparently a supplier here in canada.

Mags are about $25 for the 10 rounders at all the gun stores around here. Ive lost both my mags and have to buy some more.

As for metal trigger guards, IF savage makes them you'll have to go through savage directly.

Google Savage firearms and call the Canadian factory. When I called earlier this year, 10 rounders were 13 bucks plus $4 shipping. They can ship two mags for $4.

If you have a plastic trigger and magazine plate, there are both blue and silver metal guards that come with higher end Savage guns. BTVS for silver, and Classic for blued. They however are designed to be inletted flush with the bottom of the stock, not projecting out as I recall the plastic ones do. So you should be able to buy parts from Savage if you are willing to inlet the stock to accept them.

Just order a metal trigger guard and the bottom plate from savage canada for a tacticool stock. Cost me 14$ shipped.
