Along with all the Wild West guns parts you can add to your rifles,I've found a really good trick for up insuring excellent cycling of rounds out of the tube, while adding a aluminum magazine follower I cleanded the mag tube itself with hot soap and water, followed by a little metal polish inside the tube, this really slicked it up and I'm sure someone else has done this, the rounds really fly out of the tube when the action is cycle now ,and it made the rifle just that much smoother.

I've had several of these rifles and I'm really enjoying this one, over 400 rounds fired out of it and it's just a blast to shoot re loads .

buck knife: Thanks for sharing this tip. Makes quite a difference, doesn't it? Yep....One of the most often overlooked parts of any lever rifle, has to be the magazine tube. Dirt and rust can build up quickly inside the tube and cause major feeding problems, if neglected. Like you, I want my rifles to feed smoothly and reliably for many, many years. So, I always include the magazine tube as part of my regular cleaning and maintenance procedure.
I usually connect a long cleaning rod to an electric drill. Attach an old cleaning brush to the end of the rod. Wrap a length of extra-fine steel wool around the brush. Then, this whole contraption is run back and forth inside the tube, until its interior is nice and slick. After that, I lightly lube the magazine tube, follower and spring. Then, keep it that way. Works well.

I had a marlin 94 that would jam, it took me the longest time to figure out, the cartridge would come out of the tube too slow and the lifter would already be on the way up. The tube was just dirty.
