Marks on an old Ishapore

Inspected this old girl at the Churchbridge show today. A fellow had brought it in to get a magazine. I determined that it was an Ishapore, had been upgraded to a MkIII*.

Can someone shed light on the "FR42"?

My guess was Fazakerlry Repair in 1942. It had been sold commercially out of England, sporting the usual ENGLAND stamp
