yes yes thats it grizzly adams AKA Gatehouse was my idol in the world of bears the years guiding for them/hunting them and dealing with them had nothing to do with any experience atall, maybe you could show us all the truth afterall herrero and shelton are idiots and so are the many victims of attacks arent they

again do you know this family in question? I dont but hell he could be a navy seal sniper for all I know and saying he is being deprived by NOT attending a shooting class? please tell me any class that shows the EXACT way to do anything? your saying he dosnt have the ability to train his own child now, maybe your not qualified to train your child but then you seem the type to spend the thousands of dollars on a kid to try and buy them the gold rather than hard work and practice with minimal dollars spent ;)

by the way did you not just call camp cook down when he said a bear made him nervous because it was looking in his direction and slowly moving in on all fours?

Well well well... AGAIN :)

Bears on all fours and bears on hind legs. some of you are starting to sound like Treadwell. "And if I notice his left eyebrow twitch, I know he's just saying, let's be friends"

I have seen Bears go on hind legs, sniff the air, lock on and come full out.
I have seen then come down on all fours and turn away. I have seen them run flat out charge and spook themselves and put the brakes on and almost fall over turning around and running. Bears are "Bears" !!!

I have had a bear watch me and make me fell like I could vomit. You don't know what they can do or when. When A bear goes on hind legs though, I don't think " well that was a close one" put down the rifle and start eating my sandwich.:rolleyes:

My suggestion to those who have the oppinion that bears on hind legs or otherwise are not to be worried about:

Soak your head in Vinegar. (when you get attacked he might spit you out rather than #### you out)
 
My mistake...I wasn't aware that mediocrity ruled here......sorry to those that have no desire to improve their effectiveness in the field........

bone-collector..., perhaps you should read Rule #8 though....seems to me you are crossing it!

Think you need to get out of your basement for a bit bone collector....this is an internet formun, not the real world...I have my thoughts and you have yours. I'm not as you so eloquantly put it "calling" anyone out. I'm happy to just be another anonymous poster here with an opinion. If you're looking for a fight...maybe try a hockey rink or bar......did you read Rule#8 yet?

no not atall, camp is a liar, seel is depriving his son, I dont know squat about bears and bear hunting , maybe take note you WILL get what you give here if you dont like the heat STOP putting your fingers in the fire ;)

Wow, you read a lot into my posts that isn't there. Me disagreeing with someone is not calling them out. I'm just passing along what I've learned over the years. I'm always open to being educated....just haven't seen you add much other than trying to instigate things. Let's get past the bully and school yard analogies now okay and get back to talking about hunting and such. I've got no problem with the heat....I love a good debate....

i seem to recall me posting something awhile back about arrogance abounding at CGN..this Whole thread title is ridiculous in the extreme, and i said it pits fellow CGN'er against each other as it's basically calling each other's shooting skill into question..so people have their pride and their egos and voila here we are..i am surprised the hall monitors haven't stopped this yet as the thread shouldn't have even been created...it is a stupid discussion and nobody can judge anybody else.
 
Just for the record...I never called anyone's shooting skills into question....that was other people putting words in my mouth. I just said we can all learn a little more regardless of our skill level. I stand by that. Not sure how it got so twisted from there.

Bones - your comments were edited. While not technically a rule 8 violation, we do edit out information considered personal when asked to by those involved.

The rest of you guys - there are a lot of comments here that step over the lines of the rules. The thread is getting locked.

Sheephunter - to answer your last post, reading back it seemed to start when you suggested that a member may be "depriving their child" of something and nosedived from there. Perhaps not the perfect choice of words.

Which doesn't excuse the rest of you guys.

In the future - keep it civil guys. I hate locking threads. Surely we can discuss something as simple as this without making it personal.
