I've seen 2000FPS out of my CBSL with 18grs of Lil Gun and no ugly pressure signs. I stay around 16.5-17grs but 1900-2000FPS with a 158gr out of a 16.5" barrel is decent for sure.

I have a Leupold FX-II on an 1895SBL with the same rail. Would be the same scope I’d put on the 1894

I have an 1894C and a CSS, both JM’s and I may consider selling one to get this

I just stumbled upon a 2019 CBSL and couldn't refuse the deal.. the fit and finish is excellent. Just as good if not better then some of my JM's. I might have to sell the CSS safe queen, my former holy grail.
