Is there a set of nice bright iron sights (front and rear) of the light tube variety that have small diameter tubes so they can be used for greater distance?
Moreover, is there plastic furniture for the rifle out there? I do not even need the forestock and a skeletonized but would be nice.

I run a skinner Lo-Pro peep and Williams firesight front sight, but the blade is way too coarse for precision work at distance. I believe Williams makes a front and rear firesight set. I order mine from Brownells, they ship them here no problem.
Brockmans Rifles out of Idaho manufactures a front blade with a tritium insert. Price is not for the faint of heart.
As for your furniture, Wild West guns sells Kevlar replacements, should net you about a 10 oz's of weight savings, don't know where you'd obtain it.
MPI Stocks out of Portland,Oregon also re-stocks Marlins, that is the route I'm going.
I'm taking the family on a California vacation next summer, and will drop off my 1894 at MPI on my way past. I have had some long conversations with the owner {great guy to talk to BTW}and I should be looking at saving at least 12 ounces by going with an MPI ultralight. He also ships to Canada no problem on a regular basis if you want to DIY.
I had called WWG initially about their Kevlar offering and once they found out I was Canadian I got the "go f$ck your hat" attitude, they truly show zero interest in the Canadian market.
I believe the ramline 336 stock is only for pistol grip configuration.

The XS sighting system is a real nice set up even for old, tired eyes.
The compact and crystal clear Leupold Rifleman 2-7x33mm scope can be installed with Quick Detach mounts if you want the best of both worlds (scoped/iron) to reach out with Hornady 325 grain Hornady FTX loaded ammo to 200 plus yards.
A little off topic but I thought it wouldn't hurt to throw it in.
