Marlin 1895 owners...

wow that's not how its supposed to look. Just took a pic f my 1895SBL 45-70. sorry for the bad quality but you can see the difference.

When I bought my guide gun last year half the rifling was smooth. I brought it back and looked at two more on the shelf with a bore scope that had the same problem. The third one had perfect rifling which is the one I took home. I also looked at the longer barrel version, 4 of them, and they also all had perfect rifling.
