Marlin 1895 SBL help

I need help finding a Marlin 1895 SBL!
My buddy fell in lust with the stainless short barreled 45/70 with it's grey laminated stock and full length mag tube and big loop lever.
The clan chipped in to buy it for his birthday but can't find one.
I figure there must be one out there someplace and that a CGN'r likely knows where it is.
If you know the where abouts of a Marlin 1895 SBL I'd be obliged if you'd let me know so he can have a now belated birthday present...

Any leads appreciated.

Good luck finding one, get in line .
I have been on a waiting list for an SBL at my local shop for months . Nobody has them, and nobody knows when to expect any
I think the U.S guys are buying them up as fast as Marlin can make them and Canada is last on the list .

Check with Daves sport shop in lynden Washington ( His website is at the top of this page) Maybe he can pull you one out of the States. He has a export permit so it's all legal.
