Anyone get lucky enough to get in on the recent Tenda shipment? I missed it by minutes, got the alert while at work that they were back in stock. Have been waiting years to get one of these or even the Marlin version.

Just curious as to the fit and finish, for anyone that got theirs. I already see someone that bought one from that batch and flipped it for $700 more than msrp. They should have sold to someone that actually would appreciate it and not flip it for a quick buck, too bad.

Mines on the way from prophet river, ordered 8 months ago. They only received 5 out of 100 ordered. These will be a slow trickle in.

Lol the guy who sold his for 700 over msrp left money on the table. Seen these go 3500$+

Damn, be sure to post some pics. Well I have seen the marlins go for that but if you are patient you can order a ruger at msrp like yourself. I mean everything is taking crazy long these days, my buddy waited 12 months for a new truck! 8 months for a sweet rifle isn't bad LOL

Lol I’m good at ordering things, ordered an F150 Tremor the day they released and still took 10 months to get it.

No clue how to post pics here, still since they changed it.

Ruger/Marlin 1895 SBL Arrived today!!!

First thoughts, soooo much nicer than the Original!!!

I am in the minority on the reviews but I like the old Fore-ends way better than the slimmed down version.

The sight pic is amazing!!! Seriously the fibre optic makes all the difference.

I’ve owned a dark with muzzle break I probably won’t add one on here since it’s really loud, but the threaded barrel and cap are one of the nicest in terms of fit and finish I’ve seen.

Bolt cycles like butter, only going to get better with use.

No complaints!

You should have found one of the pre buy ones. Those guys just got the notification that they had the package in the mail. Even better than trying to buy as they hit the shelves.

All reports I have seen from the US buyers has been good so far. They received theirs a few weeks ago.

Anyone have an idea of when / if stores will be getting new stock? I am fixing to buy a new lever. Hopefully be my first "new" fire arm lol.

I pre-ordered as soon as the release was announced and received #2 of the first 5 to PR. It is a fine rifle and definitely like the bright front fiber optic sight and the ghost ring setup. Haven’t had the chance to shoot it yet. The fore-stock is a big improvement over the Remington SBL version but I do prefer the finish on the JM Marlin XLR laminate stocks and the wider fore-stock and butt caps….JMO. The Ruger SBL are nice rifle for sure and will undoubtedly please anyone who gets their hands on one I’m sure. The highly polished stainless finish sure makes for good eye candy, but is bound to be the ire of the elk hunters ;)

Best Marlin ever !!!!

Got mine from prophet...Best rifle you will ever own:rockOn::rockOn::rockOn:
In the US they are even topping 2 grand now, I got mine for 1699, slapped a hi ring vortex on it to keep the ghost sight and man is it sweet...I waited 7months and love it. I have owned Jm ones from the 50's and 60's that were the best ever made and this one is as good or better. Improvements all around over anything put out in last 20 years, especially the Remington junk.
