that new Marlin is to my eye VERY ugly. The only way it could be worse is for it to have a straight grip plastic stock.

Heh, I really like this rifle. When is it shipping to CA? (If it has, its cause I am lazy and dont know where to look that info up) And whats its price range gonna be?

Shooters Choice in Waterloo has them listed for $1350. Pretty spendy but very nice rifle I think.

Its so shiny...but soo expensive, guess I'll just have to wait till someone buy's it and doesn't like it on the EE

seems to me all the guys unhappy with the rifle are all bashing the cosmetics... WTF is there to hate about the extended tube that gives you another shot, i would LOVE to get one more round in my guide gun!
And the loop; ya i have used up a few band aids with the little factory loop and would love one i could use with my trigger mitts.

I say function before beauty, and i love it!
