And I do have a SBL 45-70 set dead on at 100 from the factory I have shot a 5 shot group 3 shots touching and 2 shots about 1/2" away at 100 yards bench rest with the evolution ammo. The cartriges are almost sucked into the tube when loading very nice and it works flawlesly. Very nicely made and we have 3 of them and not one concern at all. Yes they are $1150.00 and change plus taxes. At 200 yards hit the steel plate free hand standing just aim about 12" higher. Not bad for me.

Fondled one today at Russell Sports in Calgary, $1100. Very nice piece.
After we pay off the wife's STI Edge it's the next purchase. I need a big bore lever gun.

Lebaron.ca has a better price.. I've dropped the 45-70 idea for awhile, going for the Marlin XLR .308 Something for all the caribou around here!
