Marlin 1936 Missing a stock

Don't take this as the gospel but I don't think so. Most 1893s are straight grip and googling pics the pistol grip ones looks like a different shape to me not as much of a swoop downward.
 
Anyone know if a stock off a model 36 will fit on a model 1936. I read they are the exact same model but dont know if that information is good.
 
I found a stock!!! I went to a gunsmith here in BC. He had the gun a good 8 months but he did manage to fit me a stock. In the end it might have been more money then I would have invested in the project but im further along in the project. I have uploaded a few pics of the gun with the stock on. Still need to finish the stock and deal with the metal but its nice to have a complete rifle now.
