Marlin 336 .30-30

Hi there
I just looked at mine and as it is tight I do not want to "play" around with it.
What I did do for my Winchester model 50 semi-auto shotgun is buy a
schematic from Numrich. They are in New York somewhere. It was only a few
bucks if you don't mind using your visa on the internet and within a day or two they send you a schematic in PDF format and then I just keep it in the computer and you have all the part numbers etc. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU CAN CATCH ME AT DSKONKIN@TELUS.NET IN B.C. OR 250-399-4119 GOOD LUCK

I just took some silcon caulking and smeared it on the inside of the wood stock. When it dries, it still remain flexible, and holds the stock quite tight,

EDIT: I should have said to let the caulking dry before putting it back together, so you dont stick the stock to the mag/bbl.

Thanks for the advice guys. I haven't decided whether I should give the home repair a try or whether I should just take it to a smith here in Calgary and get him to check it out as part of an overall checkup.
