An elderly buddy of mine will be selling his lever action, and I will be helping him out.

It is believed that it was manufactured in 1952. For the vintage, hardly any handling marks. Blueing is excellent. My opinion is that is has been rarely used. Very good condition.

What would be a fair asking price for it?

Hard to say without pics. I would guess $700-$1000 depending on condition and originality. Is it a waffle top? Has it been drilled for a scope? Is the stock finish original? Original sights? My 2 cents.
