Marlin 336 Spare Parts?

Hi folks,

I bought a 1955 vintage Marlin 336 30-30 from my buddy. It needs a new barrel band screw, which I'll order from Brownells.
While I'm at it, I figure I might as well get my hands on any spare parts I may need. What I should get to "freshen up" the old girl?
Any input on what parts are likely to fail? Firing pin, spring, etc....

I tried to order Marlin parts from Brownells. They told me that Marlin is not registered with the guvamint officials that allow export and they would not ship. However I had no trouble getting the parts from Western Gun Parts. Good luck on the barrel tho. Apparently Marlin does not sell barrels last I heard.

I don't need a barrel, just the barrel band screw.
