Quick question: I'd like to buy an Happy trigger kit for my 336, but is there a place I can buy it in Canada?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Jeeesh......... I thought I replied to this already.....?
Aww yes, hit the Post Quick Reply buttoniethingee....

I would question the reason why you wish to alter the trigger
on your Marlin 336.
The one I have here has an outstanding trigger and lever mechanism.
If there is one to Beeeeeeatch about triggers, trust me, it is eye.

Git yerself some G96 and slather it on the action and work it through.

My 336 had a trigger that was heavier than my 77 landcruiser (OK, maybe I exaggerate). All I did was adjust the springs (I used the instructions found here http://marauder.homestead.com/files/tuning_m_1894.htm under the trigger guard assembly section) And it lightened the pull considerably, enough that I decided not to bother with the happy trigger kit. It's not quite as nice as the trigger on my XS-7 but I'm not gonna complain about it!

I tried to read that and lost interest after a couple paragraphs. I guess I have a really short attention span and had trouble visualizing what he was doing... Oh look, a butterfly!

Sorry, where was I...

I found a couple Youtube videos for those of us need to follow along with something more visual;

I figured it was a good write up as well, but my sense of
directions suck.
I will watch these you posted.
Thanks.

9lbs trigger pull might explain why! Not that it doesn't kill deer but I'd like to make that riffle a better one. I ordered a Skinner peep sight, went though all the you tube video and polish the action as describe and it made a difference. Now, I'd like to do something about the trigger and I'm open to any subjection.
I guess I'll take action out again and polish it few more times...
Thanks

Well, it might be only 6lbs but I do fish quite a bit so......
I'll measure it tonight and keep everyone update after polishing.

Leave her be then.
Specially for long range shooting.
Pulling the trigger with nine pounds
will for sure lift the barrel a ways to
reach out there.
