can anyone identify the manufacture year by the serial #
i have a 336 that was owned by a young relative years ago. he died in a tragic diving accident and the rifle was given to me by his father
i asked his permission to scope the rifle recently an he said no problem. he mentioned he would like to know how old the rifle is so i'd like to find out. if no luck i'll just make a few phone calls
