I dont really understand what is the diference except that the 336A is 75$ cheaper. Is it only the wood ? It would be my first lever and I whant to use it for deer. Thanks

Buy the "C." A lever gun is ugly by nature, at least this gives you better wood;). 5 years from now - when you look at her, you will wish you had spent the extra $75.

Whats wrong whit the "A" wood ? Is it so bad ? Maybe I can do a nice finish job on it. For the sight it was my intention to change it for a Williams anyway. Is it the only diference , wood and sigth ?

The problem with the A wood is it's a figureless hardwood, probably birch or beech. Great for kitchen cabinets, not gunstocks. Even with the most beautiful finish it will still look cheap and plain. Buy the C.

Had an " A" and nothing wrong with it as it shot very well but wound up selling it and bought the prettier "C". Stricly a preference as to the look and nothing to do with function.
