Looking for a retailer in Canada that carries or can order in synthetic stocks for a marlin 336y, or if it's possible to mount a full size marlin 336 stock onto a youth rifle? Also looking for a Canadian retailer who sells 336 big loop levers. I've tried contacting a couple American retailers and they want nothing to do with Canadian orders.

Thanks guys,

Darren

I bought a full size stock set from Western gun parts in Edmonton and shaped it to fit a "Y" that I had. They sell big loops too, some of their listings are on Gunbroker.

You can order any Marlin parts into Canada from Numrich as well

I was hoping Mule Man in the States would rebuild my lever but he doesn't like shipping to Canada. Says he had a customer's order disappear while coming north and never found out what happened.

I'm actually going to school in Edmonton for a couple months starting September and will definitely pay Western a visit. Never heard of a Numrich before, I'll take a good look at their site tonight. Thats a great looking Marlin.

The factory lever was buggered when I aquired it, I only had a stainless one kicking around at the time. At one point all the hardware and bands were stainless too.

Yup Numrich does ship to Canada but be warned about their mailing costs.

I've seen their big loops made for 336/1895 rifles for around $95 before shipping costs are factored in.

Go for it and keep us updated regarding the project. I just brought my 1895 GBL from Cabelas so I no longer need to buy a big loop lever upgrade.

Cheers, Barney.
