Just wondering if anyone knows for sure if Marlin still makes a lever in .357mag. I realize that their web sight shows it, but in almost a year of searching I have yet to find any dealers stocking them, or any used ones for that matter. Do these guns actually exist?
Thanks for any help.

Thanks, but when I have called it has never been in stock. I realize it is listed on quite a few sites and catalogs, but I have yet to find a dealer with stock. I am wondering, since no one is stocking that it may be discontinued or limited supply and going to US dealers.

Our US supplier has them in stock. They have both the 1894 and 1894C in .357. The 1894C is about $200 cheaper. The list is a few weeks old now but they had several of each then.

They are hard guns to find. I ordered one through SIR/Cableas in Winnipeg earlier this year and the wait was about 3 months. But at the same time I ordered mine a friend put in an order at an Ontario retailer and is still waiting.

I have one I bought new a few years ago. I bought mine from Wild West in West Edmonton mall. They matched wholesales sports prices. I was there not too long ago and I believe they had one in stock.
That gun is one of the nicest guns out there IMHO. Nothing like shooting 38 special at gophers.
Nobody wants to give them up and stock at stores is slow.
