marlin 39a or henry 22lr?

hi guys,
i want a lever .22 rimfire for hunting partridge,hare,groundhogs, and for some fun at the range.
wich one of these two model do you like best?
pro and cons of both rifles please.i need your opinions on this.

+1 for the Marlin. Henrys have too many plastic and zinc parts for my liking. A couple hundred dollars more isn't that much of a difference when you factor it over years of enjoyment of something nice.

Yes find an older Marlin, can't beat em.........the Yellerboys are kinda fugly

My dad has been using his 39a since the 70's. Thing still cycles smooth and shoots strong. The only thing wrong with it is the stock needs to get re-finished from bouncing around in a truck for 15 years!
