Hello, I have a Marlin 39m golden in excellent condition. Looking for information in values.
1981 manufacture, has a not-installed weaver scope.
Thanks for any help!

Pritty qwiet awn this thread.....?
Guess folk don't wish to bewst the value up awn the eye-deer
maybe they might be able to afford it iff'in it shows up in the EE.
OP, keep the goll dang thang.
Regrets, there be many, but selling mine is still fresh in me mind.

They are a thing of beauty, more so than the 94-22.

I purchased one 2 years ago at a show in vg condition for $450, sold it here for $950. Bought another one on here 6 mos ago for $400. It will stay with me, no plans to sell it. They are very nice pieces worth keeping. I would pay as high as $500 and after that they are not worth it to me. I have a JM 1894c so they are a bit of a set.

You will probably regret selling it.

Agree, they are a great gun. I have one from 1981 as well and it is on the never sell list.
Although, I'm not sure they top the earlier 94-22s :stirthepot2:

They are far better than any Winchester.. one in good condition. Would sell for around $800 or more. Pics help. The older Mounties etc. Bring more money for sure. Just remember when J Marlin was busy designing rifles.. Winchester was just advertising.. lol
