Any of you Marlin lovers find any with nice wood?
I found this a few years back. I was impressed with the Marlin Company factory wood on this .444P

I just bought a 1957 or 58 336A-DL with incredible wood and a lovely cheekpiece on the stock. It's beautiful. I also had one that had been custom restocked in premium walnut. Sorry, no pics right now.

Very nice wood!! that on my 444S and my 1895GS is pretty 'Plain Jane' and pales in comparison.

I replaced the wood on mine with a factory laminate.
