Marlin 45-70 load

Quite pleased with my new/old 1895 Marlin with the way it shoots. Will try working out some Hornady 350grFN loads as well along with RCBS 405gr GC cast.As luck would have it having it sighted 2 " high at 100 yards puts the top of the bottom plex reticle on a 4X Leupold dead on at 200 yards.Harold

You will have to make room in the freezer for that Moose next Fall..

Better yet ,my oldest son shot several groups with 3 in the same hole or a tad larger.Young eyes vs old goat too stubborn to wear his glasses....also will be handy for bush pushing deer as I'm usually the dog...and it's lighter than my 9.3x62.....Harold
