I really do not need another gun .. especially a 22 mag .. I have a couple of 22 center fire rifles
But a guy owes me money and he has a model 57 M there .
I have Goggled this gun and can not seem to come up with a price it may be worth ..
the gun is in NICE condition .. I would rate it 8 out of ten ,,, I do not want too rip him off real bad as he is a friend .. But I do not want to get ripped off either ..
You guy must get sick of .. what is it worth threads ... But I really can't find much on it ..
There is a couple of Winchester 22 mags for sale .. and a couple of model 39 Marlins ..just can not seem to find any 57 M to compare it too ..

I can not post pics as it is not my gun LOL
Thanks in advance

A local shop has the .22LR version @ $275, and it is in lesser condition. A Magnum in better shape should bring more.

I think the local one has a steel receiver. Will check when I go into town tomorrow.
Marlin also made these in .30M1 carbine.

Well like marriage .. for better or worst .. I own a 57M 22 mag .. Thanks for the advise .. Might have paid a bit too much , But it is a nice gun and a easy way to clear up the money owed thingy .. Again thanks .. I am sure the Veterans get Sick of the "" what is it worth "" But I did try first

Thanks for the advice // I have seen many people dry fire 22s .. especially semi auto ones .. Shoot the clip out then work the action a couple of times and then dry fire it .. I did get a box of ammo for it today at crappy tire ,, mostly only Remington on the shelve
