I just purchased and installed a mcarbo trigger spring kit in my marlin 60 and thought I would share a short review cause I'm sure that there's lots of fellow gun nutz that have a 60 and hate the trigger as much as I did. First off shipping was very fast and no issues shipping to Canada. After watching installation video from their website install took maybe half an hour. I don't have a trigger scale but I'm sure it dropped a couple lbs off the trigger pull and is much crisper and did take up some of the creep. They also have a target trigger with adjuster to help this which I might order at a different time. Before this rifle had issues with cheap Remington ammo and now it cycles flawless with anything I've fed it so far. Deffinatly a worthwhile upgrade and just thought I would share.

I put one in my 795, and would agree with every word in your post. Great outfit to deal with.

I picked one up for my 795 but was a bit to intimidated to try to install it myself .I'm convinced Marlin held a contest to see who could come up with the worst possible trigger and awarded the contract to the winner...

I agree 100% with that.Love this gun but Horrible triggers. Even the trigger itself with those grooves cut into it. I bought it for my grandson and he was always complaining about his finger hurting. Between the trigger blade itself (which I think they contracted a steak knife company to make lol) and 10 lb pull it was awful. I put jb weld in the serrations in trigger and sanded smooth and painted black. Now with spring kit it's great.

Here's a pic of her all done. Boyd's stock free-floated,trigger work I've already mentioned, champion bipod and scorpion 3-9x32 marksman scope.
