Marlin 60 & Puma mandoza head to head

I have both and decided to buy a 2nd model 60 because I found the fit and finish better than the Puma. And yes, I did say Puma because I pick up a Mandoza when they first came into the country. Current models are exactly the same, just without the Puma name because of copy right reasons. I also found the micro groves made the model 60 more accurate. The Puma is a bit big for a .22, the reciever and bolt assembly is a bit of an over kill, which is not a bad thing but what is up with the rubber recoil pad? Anyways, my 2nd model 60 is the heavy barrel version in stainless and beech.

Yes, the Puma is larger. Its almost like a center fire rifle feel. Its built sturdy for sure. I find the Marlin a nice size, compared to the size of the Mandoza ,LOL . Nice re-coil pad...........needed, no, comfortable, yes. I was reading that the puma was actually used in the Mexican army .

As a training rifle? Or for shooting down camera drones that fly over the border?
