Fell into my lap. I understand they are rare and very accurate or so I was told. It is absolutely pristine. Curious to find out what the value is and any other knowledge you care to impart. Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Seeing that they are 'rare' here in Canada and no longer made, I'd guess you should look for ca $1000 or more. I'd get a borescope video of the bore and chamber to see how good it really is inside. If it's been sitting around for a lot of the past 15-or so years, it may be a bit dirty inside. And My Marlin 60 collects a lot of powder residue since it's a semi, so this likely would too. The "T" has an adjustable stock in Laminate so should get a premium for that as well. Depends on whether you want or Need to sell it. I googled the model since I've never seen one - looks really nice.

With 5-EXTRA MAGS @ ca $40 each, add a few more $$ to my 'guess'. Plus an A/O Scope for $200 or so depending on brand and mag.

The scope is a pentax ultimate zoom 3-15. Never seen one before. you can zoom in and out on the target using a switch. Cool if you don't want to come off target to rotate the magnification ring.

The issue is they were beginner accuracy rifles. Cool yes but are you willing to pay the same amount or relatively close to the price of an Annie 54? Or a Walther? Most won’t.

I always liked the blue composite stock version. Just thought it was cool.

Don’t get me wrong there is a premium for a collector. Just not sure it’s as high as some think.

Are you confusing the single shot 2000 (conversion available) bolt action rifles that had a blue composite or laminate stock with the 7000t the op posted, it’s a 60 marlin basically ?

Apparently. Or more likely I confused this thread with one I read for a 2000L for sale I was looking at. 🤦‍♂️

Thanks for all the feedback, fellas. I am going to be putting it on the EE in the near future if anyone is interested. Shoot me a PM Cheers.

it's a glorified Marlin 60/795, their somewhat accurrate, but nowhere near Annie accurate,

I've always been interested in trying a 7000 but not at the asking prices I've seen. I've had a few 795s come/go over the years and to be honest, they were very decent in terms of accuracy, easy to work on, cheaply made. It's the scarcity of the 7000s that drive-up the value as we all know, but to me...a 7000 is a $200-ish premium over a regular 795. But then, the asking prices I've seen on 795s makes little sense to me these days.

The laminate stock (never seen that version) will add some value whether it's factory or aftermarket.

There is an uncommon Marlin I'm after too, a 25MB. I do like the older Marlin bolt actions.
